Science v. Pseudoscience

For many years science is confussed with pseudoscience. It causes people to be misinformed or make rash choices, but there are ways to tell the "right" from the "made up." The definition of science is to achieve a more complete and more unified understanding of the physical world. Pseudoscience is a theory, methodology, or practice that is considered to be with out scientific foundation. You see, pseudoscience is not factual and is usually driven by commercial goals. As for science, it is based on fact which went through plenty of experiments to be proven true.

With pseudoscience, it is used to provoke the individuals ego or to gain ones support. If you tell the people what they want to hear, when it isn't true, your doing just to gain their support. I could be easy to fall for pseudoscience. Science however is not told to be liked or gain support. It is tell facts. Science is tested, observed, experiment on, and re-tested for it to be correct....not liked.

I can see how advertising is a good place to use pseudoscience. They can say what you want to hear so you buy their product. Pass it off as science and your hook line and sinkered. To know if its science you need to check it's source or reference. If it has been test and is a fact, it's good. Don't be fooled by pseudoscience.
